We use donor information only as necessary to process donations, maintain records, comply with legal obligations, communicate with donors, and support our charitable operations.
9. Restricted Gifts
Unless a donation is expressly designated and accepted for a specific purpose, all donations are considered unrestricted and may be used where they are most needed to support the mission of Placer Freedom Foundation.
If a donor requests that a contribution be used for a particular program or purpose, we will make reasonable efforts to honor that request. However, Placer Freedom Foundation retains ultimate discretion and control over all donated funds in accordance with applicable nonprofit laws and Internal Revenue Service requirements.
If a designated program has been completed, discontinued, or becomes impracticable, we may redirect the donated funds to a substantially similar charitable purpose that best advances our mission.
10. Recurring Donations
If we offer recurring donations in the future, donors who enroll authorize the selected payment method to be charged automatically at the frequency chosen during enrollment until canceled.
Donors may cancel recurring donations at any time by following the instructions provided with the recurring donation program or by contacting us.
Changes or cancellations may not affect donations already processed before the request is received.

If you believe an error occurred while making a donation, please contact us as soon as possible.
We will make reasonable efforts to investigate and resolve verified processing errors.
